movie news: The Japanese Film Festival is back!

Fans of Japanese cinema rejoice! The Japanese Film Festival (JFF) is back and it’s coming to a city near you soon. Unusually among film festivals, the Japanese Film Festival is a travelling feast, starting off in Cork on April 3rd and winding it’s way to Galway and Limerick before heading to Dublin and Waterford, finishing up on 17th April.

Now in it’s 6th year, The Japanese Film Festival 2014 is a collaboration between the Embassy of Japan and access>CINEMA, with support from the Ireland Japan Association and the Japan Foundation and it grows bigger and better every year.

I’ll be putting together a list of my highlights in the coming days but you can find out more about the films and book tickets on their brand spanking new website, JFF.ie and you can follow them on Twitter, @JFF_Ireland and like them on Facebook to keep up to date with their goings ons…

… If that is indeed a real phrase.
