feature: 83rd Academy Award Nominees ballot form

If you’re looking for an Oscar prediction ballot form for 2013, I have one right over here – 2013 Oscar Ballot Form.

Yes yes, it’s that time of year again. Awards season! Well, ok, it’s been that time of year for a while now but today it’s a big one. The Oscar nominations are out… You can see a full list on the official site here.

I, like every other movie blogger no doubt, will be doing an article on my predictions later on but for now I wanted to make sure you all had a chance to do your own. I’ve done an Academy Awards 2011 A4 printable prediction ballot for you to fill out.

I always think one of the fun things to do every year is do your predictions with your mates – possibly for a few quid, possibly just for kudos – and see who comes out top of the bunch. Course you’ll need someone to keep the ballots safe until the actual Oscars on 27th Feb 2011. I’m afraid I can’t help you with that!

I’ve kept it to what in my mind are the top 14 categories. Mainly because that’s what fit on two pages. I’m missing some like make-up and sound unfortunately… but what can you do…

Feel free to send me your predictions as well, if enough of you do I’ll announce the top person after the Oscars on 27th Feb 2011. You can reach me at nicola at averagefilmreviews dot com.

Anyway, to get the prediction ballot click and download here

I’m not all that disappointed with the Oscars this year, except no love for Christopher Nolan, or The Town for that matter. However, it doesn’t matter all that much really since The Social Network is practically going to win everything it’s nominated for. Which kind of blows, but hey it really was an amazing piece of work. Can’t wait for the show!

I really am more afraid that The King’s Speech is going to sweep it over The Social Network. They’re both excellent films but to me The Social Network was, as Dan O. says, an amazing piece of work – I think it’s better rounded. The King’s Speech was a good story expertly told and performed but that’s all.
