movie news: New Looper Animated Trailer released

… they’ve gone and released this rather snazzy looking animated trailer.
Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt Looper is a sci-fi time travel tale like we’ve rarely seen. Gordon-Levitt plays a looper, a hitman in the past (or is it the present) who knocks off people from the future who the future crime lords want dead.
It’s actually not as complicated as it might sound at all.
I’ll have a review up soon but for now feast your eyes on this.
At first I was impressed. But then I watched Trailer #2 – in which the idiots gave too much of the story away – and realised, it was gimmicky and I had the opposite issue of learning aboslutely nothing about the film in order to make a choice on whether to see it or not.
Very annoyed at Trailer #2. They should have stopped the monologue just after JGL explains what a Looper is. Let Bruce Willis’ role remain a surprise.
