movie news: New Seven Psychopaths featurette released

I know I’ve talked about Seven Psychopaths before but it’s one of the few films I’m looking forward in 2012 so bear with me…

If you’re wondering why I’m looking forward to it so much, it’s because it stars Christopher Walken as a dognapper. Ok, there’s other stuff going on too but that pretty much sold it for me.

Seriously though, Seven Psychopaths is the latest from Martin McDonagh, the writer and director of In Bruges. That adventure in Bruges was one of my favourite films of 2008 so I’ve been eagerly awaiting his follow up.

McDonagh has teamed up again with Colin Farrell. Farrell leads a great cast as Marty, a frustrated screenwriter who finds himself dragged in the murky world of dognapping. Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken feature as the dognapping duo while Woody Harrelson is the gangster they probably shouldn’t have crossed.

This is a red band behind the scenes featurette so if you’re in work, you might want to put the headphones in. And if you’re avoiding spoilers, you might just want to… you know, not watch.
