movie trailer news: The Road (2010)

I actually don’t know that much about The Road except that it’s a “post-apocalytic tale”. I love post-apocalytic tales, post-apocalytic is my favourite genre. Well, post-apocalytic and dystopian are my favourites, they often overlap though, so it’s all good. Come to think of it I’m surprised I didn’t mention that fact in my 2012, then again I suppose that was more apocalytic than post-apocalytic

Anyway, the film is based on the novel of the same name by Cormac McCarthy, who also authored No Country For Old Men. I liked that film but I’m much more excited about this one. It sounds just like my kind of film.

The Road is releasing in Ireland on January 8th
